Hi, I’m Anna.

I am currently a junior at Boston University majoring in public relations, with a minor in Spanish.

About me

I was drawn to the communications field because I love to write and I enjoy working collaboratively in fast-paced environments. Although I am not yet certain of which exact industry I will go into, I know I want to work in PR because it offers the perfect balance of creativity and business strategy.

Currently I am the Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Buzz, BU’s longest-operating student-run magazine. In my role, I oversee ~150 members with positions from writing to photography, to graphic design, to COMs, and more. Prior to serving as EIC, I was the PR & Events Director where I focused on building connections and planning events for The Buzz. Now, in addition to being a resource for every section of the magazine, I work extra closely with the COMs team offering any guidance they might need based on my own experience.

I spent Summer ‘24 interning for Louis Sel, a small woman-owned French sea salt company. I helped manage the Instagram account, plan and film content, write newsletters and blog posts, make media lists, and sell the product at pop-up markets. Here is one of the blog posts that I created.

BUPD Bean TikTok

In Fall ‘24 I was an account executive at PRLab, the nation’s longest-operating student-run PR agency, and I was assigned to an account team for the Boston University Police Department. The client wanted us to primarily focus on social media for Bean, the department’s police dog. Here is the TikTok page that we started and created content for during the semester.

Louis Sel Instagram collab

During my time as a PR intern for Louis Sel in Summer ‘24, I organized, planned, filmed, edited, and posted a video collab series with another French inspired brand. Over the course of my internship, I increased Instagram engagement among followers by 47.5% and among non-followers by 1,022%. Here is a link to the first video in the series.
